Hello! My name is Riley and I’m a trans, queer writer and artist, originally from Orange County, California. I love to write diverse stories. My current project is a novel that is deeply connected to my life, titled Losing My Religion. My goal is to publish in 2026.
I work in the field of education, helping first-generation, college-bound students prepare for their futures. The high school and college experience is profoundly intriguing to me, and a goal of my writing is to expose the way in which harsh circumstances during adolescence can transform anyone’s life. I am interested in stories that dive into the psyche of someone who has been changed by such circumstances.
I hold a Bachelor’s degree in health sciences, and am aiming to go to graduate school for counseling. I have lived in and seen a variety of places, many of which I write about. I currently live with my partner and our pets: two cats, a turtle, and a gecko.
